​Classes & Activities in the Art Room

Interested in making art with me? 
Invite friends or family and schedule an art class or host a Happy Hour event in the Art Room! See below for the wide selection of classes and activities. I provide all the materials (and do all the clean-up!). The Art Room is in my home in Bothell, WA. Once you have the minimum (or maximum) attendees available and a date, please reach out to schedule.

Just Scraping By (2 hrs)
$35 per person, Attendee min 2/max 5
 
Learn how to create fun and unique abstract art. You will learn two techniques and go home with at least two works of art and one greeting card using your abstract creations! All materials provided. Suitable for new and experienced artists. 

Introduction to Gelli Printing (4 hrs)
$40 per person, Attendee min 2/max 5
 
Using acrylic paint, stencils, stamps, marking tools, and more, we will create unique, beautiful, and funky paper to frame, for use on cards, art journals, collage, etc. All materials provided. Suitable for new and experienced artists.

Color Block Flowers (3 hrs)
$40 per person, Attendee min 2/max 5
 
6”x6” abstract acrylic painting. Funky flowers amid a color-blocked background. All materials provided. Suitable for new and experienced artists.

Watercolor Doodles (2–3 hrs)
$35 per person, Attendee min 2/max 5
 
Using watercolor or fluid acrylic inks, we will create abstract (and often whimsical) art as we add doodling to the paper. All materials provided. Suitable for new and experienced artists.

​Wood Block Collage (3–4 hrs)
$75 per person, Attendee min 2/max 5
 
Mini collages, done on small wood blocks, combine to make a unique work of art. Each wood block can be stamped, painted, embellishments added, and more! All materials provided. Suitable for new and experienced artists.

Greeting Cards Galore (2 hrs)
$35 per person, Attendee min 2/max 5

Learn the basics and create your own set of greeting cards (rubber stamping, painting, stickers, etc.). We can focus on a holiday, a theme, or any sentiment. You will leave with up to 6 unique greeting cards with envelopes. All materials provided. Suitable for new and experienced artists.

Collage Happy Hour (2–3 hrs*)
$45 per person, Attendee min 4/max 6

You host 4-6 of your friends and spend an evening of fun and collage making! Bring your own snack(s) and beverage(s) of choice. All materials provided. Suitable for new and experienced artists.
*Time depends upon number and experience of attendees.

Art Room Happy Hour (3–4 hrs*)
$45* per person, Attendee min 4/max 6

You host 4-6 of your friends and spend an evening of fun and art making! Project is determined in advance (between guest host and artist). Bring your own snack(s) and beverage(s) of choice. All materials provided. Suitable for new and experienced artists.
*Some projects offered in other classes can be chosen. Actual time (and possibly cost) is based on project selected.
