Put a bird on it!

Whether it's clothing, jewelry, or mixed media, putting a bird on it seems to be a universal theme. From swallows, to
crows or ravens, owls, or this year's peacock, artists and patrons, alike, love birds.

I believe that jewelry is art. So why not display it when we're not wearing it?

This is a hand cut tin bird pin that rests among the branches when not being worn.

Below is an example of recent work. These little treasures are created with with paper, stamped images, embellishments and more.

Heart Wings

After attending a class where we created vintage heart pendants, I was inspired to create these hand cut tin hearts with wings and varied embellishments.

These can worn as a necklace, choker, or pin.

Greeting Cards: When I was in England last spring, I spent a lot of time with friends making handmade cards and it reminded me why I have so many stamps and papers in the Art Room!
